FAQ

Reasonable questions.

Will my customers know they're talking to an AI?

The agent introduces itself as "Swych, calling from [your shop name]." It doesn't pretend to be a human. In our trials, callers don't care — they care that the call gets answered and the job gets booked. We can also customize the introduction to your shop's tone.

What happens for an emergency call at 2 a.m.?

You configure rules per situation. For "no heat in January" or "active leak," the agent can text or call your on-call tech immediately, in addition to taking the booking. For routine inquiries, it books the next available slot and sends a confirmation. You decide what counts as urgent.

How does it integrate with Jobber or Housecall Pro?

Two-way sync is launching with the product. New customers and jobs from the agent will flow into your existing system, and schedule changes you make in Jobber/HCP will reflect back in the agent's availability. Today, you can export bookings to your scheduling tool manually until automated sync ships.

Does it handle Quebec callers in French?

Yes — Growth and Pro plans support both languages, switching mid-call if needed. We default to French in Quebec area codes (514, 418, 438, 581, 819, 873) and English elsewhere. Bill 96 compliant out of the box.

What data do you store?

Call recordings, transcripts, customer details, and bookings are stored with PIPEDA-compliant safeguards. You own the data and can export it any time.

What if the agent gets something wrong?

You see every call with transcript and recording. You can flag any call to retrain the agent. We review flagged calls weekly. The agent improves over time on your specific business — terminology, pricing, service area quirks.

How fast can I get set up?

Most shops are live in 3–5 business days. We do a 20-minute training call, configure the agent, you forward your line, we do a test run together. That's it.
